With Meta's recent API expansion announcement, Instagram Reels are now fully supported! We're excited to offer this automated support across the platform as Reels continue to dominate on Instagram.
Let's dive into the new Reels capabilities and the ways it can aid your team's evolving strategy!
What's new?
Here's the latest Reels support since our last update!
-
Reels are now available across the platform.
View Reels in Discovery, CRM, Campaigns, and Social Timelines.
-
Reels are marked as their own content type.
Rather than being marked as a video, Reel posts will now be identified.
-
Reels for personal accounts will be marked as videos.
For personal-specific accounts, Reels will continue to be marked as videos.
-
All Reels will be pulled in Campaigns as long as they are in-feed or a Story.
If the Reels are not in-feed, the post will only capture authenticated business/creator accounts.
-
Authenticated creators have additional supported metrics.
The table below outlines the available metrics for authenticated and non-authenticated creators.
