- Creator Promote is specific to dark post ads; connecting a Facebook/Instagram account will give the brand or agency limited permissions through their Meta Ads Manager account.
- Authentication focuses on pulling content and real-time metrics on active campaigns.
When connecting an account under Creator Promote or Ad Permissions, the collaborating brand or agency will gain limited permissions to create a dark post.
Dark posts will not appear in-feed. Instead, they'll be shown to a targeted audience through Facebook Ads.
Not only do we do this for security purposes, but we also want to be transparent in the permissions being granted.
- Create a campaign and Ad Set within Ads Manager.
- When you get to the Ads section, there is an option to Switch Identities.
- Locate the CreatorIQ folder.
- After locating the CreatorIQ folder, select the influencer to run an ad under their username.
Yes! This can be done under the Meta Ads Manager account.
No, we only require the influencers' email addresses to run ads under their username(s).
As many as you want! There are no restrictions on the number of influencers that can be promoted.
Below, we'll walk through the steps of identifying them in your CRM!
- Navigate into your CRM or Creators tab.
- Click
(or Socials) filter.
- In the filter dropdown, select
(or Instagram) and/or
(or Facebook).
- Checkmark the ad permission filters you would like to view.

- After, the influencers will populate with the requested filters.

In their Profile's Social tab, one of the colored megaphone icons – based on the key above – will appear if they've successfully connected their Facebook/Instagram through their Link Account's Ad Permissions.
