By turning on the IG Story Views in your Campaign, you will be able to report Instagram Story Impressions as ‘Views’. This feature enables your reporting to be more accurate and aligned with your organization’s definition of ‘Views’ as it relates to Instagram Story posts.
📝 Note: The IG Story Views metric will appear in Campaign Reports and the Post Performance sub-tab (main tab: Statistics). The metric is not editable in the Posts tab and Published Posts sub-tab (main tab: Creators).
🛠 Turning on IG Story Views
- Navigate into your Campaign.
- Select the Settings icon, which looks like a gear shift, on the right side
- Select the General sub-tab.
- Scroll to the bottom section until you see IG Story Views.
- Toggle ON IG Story Views.
⚠️ Reminder: To be able to populate the exact post metrics for Instagram Stories and IG Story Views, Creators have to authenticate their Instagram account with CreatorIQ. They can connect their Instagram account through their Link Accounts page. For assistance with authentication, please view our Authenticating Your Instagram Account article.
