CreatorIQ currently supports Boolean operators, search term Grouping, Wildcards, and Exact Phrase Search.
Boolean operators and Grouping
The familiar operators AND, OR and NOT are supported. However, the effects of these operators can be more complicated than is obvious at first glance. NOT takes precedence over AND, which takes precedence over OR.
Multiple terms or clauses can be grouped together with parentheses, to form sub-queries: ((quick AND fox) OR (brown AND fox) OR fox) AND NOT news
Wildcard search
Matches creators that have fields matching a wildcard expression. Supported wildcards are *, which matches any character sequence (including the empty one), and ?, which matches any single character. Note that this query can be slow, as it needs to iterate over many terms. In order to prevent extremely slow wildcard queries, a wildcard term should not start with one of the wildcards * or ?.
Examples:
- fish*
- *shi?g
- fi*ng
- bow?
Exact phrase search
Include the search terms in double quotes to search for exact phrase.
- “Quick brown fox jumps over lazy dog”
